How Embarrassing!!

Nifa: "Lia, let's go to the class"

Me: "Okay!"

It was around 12 PM when Nifa asked me to go back to the class. The class started at 01.10 PM, but we head back earlier because she said she was so sleepy and wanted to take a little nap in the class, I agreed. And so we left the canteen and went to the class. Before we enter the class, I saw that our lecturer was already there. I was surprised and thought whether we were late. I opened the door!

I opened the door just a second before I realized that it wasn't my class. It was the other class which should be ended soon. OH MY GOD!!!! Am I that ignorant so that I don't remember my class mate? No! I saw a girl, we had same classes together. But the fact is, tho sometimes she join my classes, we're from different class. I am class B and she's class A.

The good thing was that I haven't entered the class just yet. When I opened it and saw lots of different faces, I close the door immediately. The lecturer didn't aware of my sudden presence as well as the rest of the class. We walked away, entered the other class and burst into laugh. I was so embarrassed and Nifa kept laughing at me.

Welcome to Twitterland, Mr. Presindent

THREE WEEKS ago (Apr,25,2013) my Editing Class lecturer - Mr. Ruswan Dalyono - assigned me to write an article. But I started working on my article THREE DAYS ago *not good. Well, to be fair with myself, I wanted to write article with a hot-on-going-topic. Three weeks ago topic must have been cold today, rite? of course!

I was surfing on the internet, my intention was to find ideas for my article, but I ended up on Twitter *cliche. Hey! it wasn't a bad idea, you know. Because I found the idea on Twitter *believe me* That doesn't mean I suggest you to surf on Twitter or Facebook while working on your paper tho. Haha! I was bored and hitting the refresh button repeatedly when I saw a lot of people tweeting about Mr. President's Twitter account.



So I thought, why don't I make it my topic? Since I don't have another option, I decided to write an article about it. With LOTS of efforts and perspiration, My 405 words article is finished later on Sunday >_< Here is the article I made:

--- "Welcome to Twitter, Mr. President"
Twitter is a social media uses by teenagers and adults nowadays. It is a kind of micro blogging and broadcasting, where you can post stories of 140 characters or pictures on the internet. Different kind of feeling, thought and picture are posted, familiarly known as ‘tweet’, to the world. With a maximum of 140 characters pre-post, the tweets are so easy to read and scan-friendly. That is why people can spend hours and hours reading interesting tweets, especially from interesting people like celebrities or public figure.

Talking about public figure, on March 27th 2013, Mr. Susilo Bambang Yodhoyono created his first Twitter account. His account later verified by the official of Twitter. To make people believe that this is Mr. President’s real account, a message was written in the profile; said that tweet(s) from Mr. President signed *SBY*.

“Akun Resmi Presiden Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono. Dikelola oleh Staf Khusus Presiden Republik Indonesia. Twit dari Presiden ditandai *SBY* (Twitter.com)”

A lot of people then tweeted and commented about Mr. President’s twitter account. Welcoming and greeting him on Twitterland. Some people also wish him luck, health and better means of communication. They are so happy that now they are able to know his activities and perspective toward problems or events in Indonesia.

However, there are also some people who think different. That Mr. Yudhoyono has a twitter account does not do any good to him and to other people. For example, it makes people are able to mock or make fun of Mr. President on twitter now. There are indeed a great number of tweets saying bad thing or making fun of Mr. President. It was such a fuss.

Mr. President himself sees twitter as a tool to get to know Indonesian people better. In his first tweet, he greeted Indonesian and said that he joined twitter in order to share point of view and inspiration.

“Halo Indonesia. Saya bergabung ke dunia twitter untuk ikut berbagi sapa, pandangan dan inspirasi. Salam kenal. *SBY* (Twitter.com)” Later, he started tweeting about his perspective and also sharing pictures of him and the family. Other public figures are also exchanging tweet with Mr. President.

Up until today (April, 15th 2013), Mr. President has already had 646,340 followers and followed 9 people. The nine accounts he followed are his family, the Vice President of Indonesia and three journalists, chosen by a lucky draw in the twitter launch day. ---

Wasn't a very good article, rite? *I know, I know. The article are supposed to be submitted today at 7 AM but Mr. Ruswan couldn't attend the class that day and so the article will be checked next week *buuu. I actually was so excited about my Lecturer's respond, but I think I'll just wait until next week and hope he likes my article :3

One Piece in My Blog - Introduction

One Piece is my favorite anime, I love it so much. I don't think that I am such a child for liking it. Hhaha
It's a super well-known anime in the world, written by Oda sensei. The story is so complex and fascinating. Mostly about friendship, determination, vogaye, comedy and specific pirate features.

There are two version of One Piece, the comica (manga) or the anime. Both have their own features and specialization. If you don't like reading comic that much, then I really suggest that you watch the anime. As of me, I am currently watching the anime. Not because I dislike reading comic, it's just because I like their voice (especially when they are singing), colorful outfit and background in the anime.

The characters are: Luffy as the captain, and other 8 of his crew. They are, Zorro, Nami, Usopp, Sanji, Chopper, Robin, Franky and Brook. I will give more detail about them later.

As the title suggest, it's just an introduction. Because I would like to write about one piece a lot in my blog from now on. Hopefully, you like the anime or manga so that we can have a litle discussion here. Hehe :)

Breaking Dawn Part 2

Yesterday, my friend and I went to the cinema to watch Breaking Dawn part II, it was great. The movie is really amazing and tricky, hahha! It was such a fuss, everyone is talking about Breaking Dawn part II. When watching the movie, I was so amazed by the visual effect of the movie, it was great. Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson are really great a couple.

Why I said the movie's tricky? because I was so shock when Calisle killed by Aro! I was like, "What?? What the hell??!! it's nothing like the novel" I freaked out! at the same time, I was so sad, I almost cried. Because Carlisle and Jasper got killed, because Renesmee and Jacob had to run. Because two wolves died. And because Summit had change the story, far from the novel. But at the end, it was just Alice's vision. hhaha! Everyone on the cinema went "shit! that's not funny!" and I am one of them. It was such a relief that it ended happily, just like in the novel :) and the movie, totally awesome :D

New Style

yesterday, I tried a new style of wearing hijab. My friend help me shaping it. I don't know why but I feel weird using it that way, maybe because I am not used to it. But my Friend told me that I look fine. Some also said that I look good. I'd like to wear it again and I hope next time I can wear it myself. hhaha! Anyway, the girl next to me is my friend, her name is Adisa Dini Anggraini. She is so adorable, isn't she? ;)

AECS 2012

Waaawww,, such a great competition it was. I was the coordinator of Story Telling competition for High School students. I saw a lot of great performance from the participants. They were all awesome. I'm so grateful for the chance I got to be the coordinator. I know it contains a great responsibilities, and I've done my best. I also so thankful for all my staff, my super staff who's been helping me since we started to make the concept, three months ago, until the end of the competition. They are such a great staffs. I really meant it. I don't think it would be an exaggeration if I said I'm nothing without them. They calmed me down whenever I'm panic and help me solving the problem. One is done, here come another. The competition which took almost all my time is done, but now all my assignment is getting angry because of my neglecting them. so I got to go now. see you again. soon
